Do you take insurance?

We utilize our patient’s insurance plans to order blood tests and imaging. While we are not in network with insurance companies, we are happy to provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We suggest checking your insurance plan to see if they cover naturopathic physicians!

Do you take health sharing?

No, at the moment they do not cover visits with naturopathic physicians. Although, word on the street is that Impact is going to start covering naturopathic care at the end of the year!

Do you accept care credit?

No, care credit only approves care if there is an MD, NP, or DO on staff.

Can you provide referral to a specialist if I have HMO insurance?

Yes!

How are you different from a medical doctor?

We spend WAY more time with our patients. We treat the whole person so we can understand the root cause of your symptoms, instead of giving you a medication is mask it. We work harder than most medical doctors to find the cause and treat it!

Do you see kids?

No, we only see adults. Some exceptions may be made for teenagers. Ask us about our trusted referral partners for pediatric naturopathic doctors though!

Do you take HSA/FSA?

Yes!

Do you prescribe medications?

Yes, at Love Your Health Natural Medicine, our licensed naturopathic doctors have the authority to prescribe medications when appropriate to our patients in the state of Arizona.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

You should expect about an hour and a half appointment so feel free to get comfortable! It’s most helpful if you bring previous labs/imaging if applicable. We talk about as much as we can. We will also most likely do some sort of physical exam. We generally don’t give treatment plans at the first visit if there is additional labs, imaging or other investigation needed to understand your health concerns. Check out our What to Expect page for more information!
