About Us

Medicine built on empathy, not ego.

Three naturopathic doctors who met as classmates, became close friends, and built the practice they always wanted to work in together.

The Love Your Health team — Dr. Bailey, Dr. Carie, and Dr. Spencer in their Tempe, AZ clinic

Est. February 2024 · Tempe, AZ

How it started

Three classmates who never stopped working together.

Our story began at Sonoran University of Health Sciences, where the three of us first met. Spencer and Carie, both passionate about naturopathic medicine, stepped into leadership as President and Vice President of their cohort. A few years in, we met Bailey, and she quickly became part of the circle: not just a classmate, but a close friend who shared our love for natural health and wellness.

Navigating medical school was no small feat, especially through the challenges of COVID. We leaned on each other through long study nights, hectic clinic shifts, and the rollercoaster of learning to become doctors in a difficult time for the medical community and the world. Some of our best memories came from working acupuncture shifts together, where even in the busiest moments we found joy, connection, and purpose.

After boards, life took us in different directions. Spencer and Carie stayed on at Sonoran University as residents, while Bailey dove into private practice in Prescott Valley. But one thing was clear: we knew we wanted to work together again. That's how Love Your Health Natural Medicine was born.

Our Journey

Where we met

Sonoran University of Health Sciences. Spencer and Carie served as President and Vice President of their cohort. A few years in, Bailey joined the circle as a classmate and close friend.

Medical school through COVID

Long study nights, hectic clinic shifts, and learning to become doctors in a difficult time for the world. Some of our best memories came from working acupuncture shifts together.

Graduation, Costa Rica, and boards

We celebrated graduation the most relaxing way we knew how: a trip to Costa Rica. Then we came home, sat board exams, and all three of us passed.

Residency, faculty, and preceptorship

All three of us earned our naturopathic medical degrees from Sonoran University. Dr. Spencer and Dr. Carie gained clinical experience in a teaching residency program there, and Dr. Carie joined Sonoran's faculty. Dr. Bailey honed her skills in acupuncture and nature cure through a preceptorship before moving into private practice in Prescott Valley.

February 2024: LYHNM opens

Love Your Health Natural Medicine opened its doors in Tempe, AZ. Three doctors, one team, and a space where naturopathic medicine thrives. And the best part? We get to do it as friends.

Our philosophy

Find the why. Treat the whole person.

We believe health is not just a state of being. It's an act of love. To love your health is to honor your body, mind, and spirit, and that philosophy sits at the heart of everything we do.

So we don't just manage symptoms. We investigate, listen, and build care plans that address what's actually going on.

Root-Cause Medicine

We don't stop at "what" — we find the "why." Advanced labs, comprehensive health histories, and the detective work most doctors skip. Your symptoms have a source, and we'll find it.

Whole-Person Care

Your body doesn't work in isolated systems — and neither do we. We look at nutrition, hormones, mental health, lifestyle, and environment together. Because everything is connected.

Patient Empowerment

We don't just hand you a treatment plan — we educate you about your body so you understand why each step matters. You become an active partner in your own healing.

Your care team

The doctors behind the mission.

Every patient gets the combined expertise of all three doctors — because your health deserves more than one perspective.
