How It Works
The science behind the needles.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is rooted in over 3,000 years of practice. TCM views the body as a network of energy pathways (meridians), and acupuncture restores balance by stimulating specific points along these pathways.
Modern science agrees
Research shows acupuncture stimulates the nervous system, reduces inflammation, increases blood flow, and triggers the release of endorphins and other natural pain-relieving compounds. The WHO recognizes it for dozens of conditions.
What a session looks like
You'll lie comfortably while Dr. Newman places ultra-thin, sterile needles at precise points. Most patients feel deeply relaxed — many even fall asleep. Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes.
